As we come to terms with this pandemic disease of the highest magnitude, India has so far done a commendable job in keeping this disease largely at bay. However, if you see the below-mentioned representation, you would understand that the crucial time has just started for India
If we see, India is at stage two where the local transmission from positive cases has taken the tally of infected people to 112. Many doctors have pointed out that we may have 30 days to halt or possibly lessen the effect of coronavirus before it enters stage 3. The biggest problem we face now that in stage 3 it spreads in communities and with the size of our country this can be catastrophic. The fear of getting isolated among our own people if we test positive for this virus is another reason why this number could already be higher or it can blatant ignorance. Indian Diaspora with 17.5 Million is the highest in the world. Also, the number of global travellers from India makes it more vulnerable to further problems. India has a population of 454 inhabitants per square km, with smaller developed nations facing a proper lockdown, it is imperative for the government to proactively test people at their homes. This calls for alarming measures. We need to spread awareness among the less fortunate people in our society as the multiplication may be impossible to even control in the near future. Taking sanitation measures and avoiding public gathering is a must. We also need to let go of the "Iron man" attitude who remains untouchable of any problems. We as a country can only limit the damage of this disease of epic proportion as our togetherness is our strength. I am not going to talk about the economic damage which has been incurred due to this virus as the world is going through the most terrible times of life which impacts the very existence of human beings. Once we come out with flying colours, we will be able to fight the economy and develop a beautiful world again.
